Hot House Debuts 2 New Exclusive Models

SAN FRANCISCO — Gay production company Hot House Entertainment has announced the addition of two new models to their roster.

Johnny Gunn and Ross Hurston have signed exclusive contracts. Hot House founder and legendary director Steven Scarborough anticipates one or two more models to be added over 2008.

“We don’t take on a lot of exclusives because were obligated to work with them and get the magazine covers and help them make really big names,” Scarborough told XBIZ. “But with my other existing exclusives, like Dillon Crow, Ty Lebeouf, and CJ Knight — I think this will round it out nicely for us.”

“I’m just thrilled to have these two new guys come on board with us,” Scarborough said.

Gunn came to the company’s attention through his beau, Hot House exclusive Nick Piston. The pair have already shot several scenes together, which will appear in the studio’s upcoming title “Stark Naked.”

“It was really Johnny’s fantasy to enter the gay porn world and see how far he could go with it, and Nick has really encouraged him,” Scarborough said. “Johnny feels that he is at his peak, and this is the ideal situation for me as a producer.

“He has another career, so he’s not doing it just for the money,” the director added. “But he wants to do it because he wants to show himself off and he wants to have it documented, so that he can look back at it in a few years, and say, ‘I really lived my dream.’”

Gunn’s scenes will be available on the Hot House website in the Backroom area in seven weeks, with the movie will be released to DVD a month after. Affiliates will have exclusive first access to “Stark Naked” and all other future Hot House titles.

“Part of releasing our content exclusively on the site is to create some buzz for all of our new and potential affiliates that we have these two new big stars coming,” Scarborough said. “They can promote and they’re going to have first stab at them, in the Backroom and with the affiliate program. We’re getting a lot of positive feedback from that.”

Hurston came to Hot House from Great Britain, where he modeled for U.K. gay studio Men at Play, and is currently the cover model for European leather apparel and fetish gear retailer Rob Leather. The model will appear in all catalogs and print advertising for the retailer, creating some cross-marketing opportunities for Hot House.

Hurston’s U.S. debut can be seen online in the Hot House Backroom, in scenes from “Head Hunters, Inc.,” and will also appear in “Stark Naked” paired with CJ Knight.

“He chose us,” Scarborough said. “He’s had a lot of offers, but he’d seen what we’ve done with a model like Francesco D’Macho and he said, ‘I want you to do the same for me.’ I was flattered.

“We’re flattered to have both of them come to us and choose us and put their confidence in us.”
